The expiration date is written on the prescription itself.
If you do not have a copy of your prescription, it all depends upon your doctor and where you live. State law establishes how often a doctor can require you to come in for an eye exam. It generally varies from a minimum or one to two years unless there is a valid medical reason to encourage more frequent exams.
Contacts America encourages all of its customers to schedule regular visits to their eye doctor for eye exams in order to safeguard their eyes’ health. If your prescription is expired one of our representatives will remind you to schedule a visit to your eye care provider.
