How can I return or exchange a product?

At Contacts America we guarantee that you will receive the exact type and brand of contact lenses specified in your order. Each lens will arrive sealed in the manufacturer's sterile packaging or your purchase will be refunded. In addition if within 30 days of order date the product is found unsatisfactory, unopened boxes or glass vials of lenses can be returned for a full refund.*

Return Process:

  1. Contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. This RMA Number MUST accompany all returned merchandise.
  2. Print and fill out a Returns Form and include it with your return. To receive credit, you must mail this Returns Form along with a copy of the original Packing Slip with your return. If you do not have the Packing Slip and cannot print the Returns Form, you can simply attach a note to your order indicating your name, the order number and the items you are returning, including the reason so that we can properly process the return.
  3. Re-pack only unopened and sealed contact lens vials or boxes for return. Contact lenses are FDA-regulated product, and classified as a Class III device (21 CFR 886.5925). As such, federal law prohibits us from accepting any opened products for return or exchange, unless a product defect exists, it's illegal for us to reuse or resell them.
  4. Address the return package as follows:

  5. For your protection, items should be returned via traceable mail. we recommend that you ship your return back to us via UPS or US Postal Service with insured service. This protects you in case the shipment is damaged or lost in transit. This will also allow you to track your return shipment easily through that carrier. We cannot assume responsibility for misdirected, damaged, or lost shipments.

Please be sure that your Packing Slip and the Returns Form are inside the package you are returning. Your return may take longer to be processed if the Returns Form or the Packing Slip are missing from the package.

Note that it can take up to 6 weeks to complete the processing of your return (i.e., you send us the package, we credit you for your return, your credit card company reflects your credit, etc.). In the case of returns sent from APO/FPO addresses, the military and US Postal Service handles delivery, so we are unable to estimate the shipping time back to us. Usually these returns take a little longer than normal, so please be patient.

  • * Custom Lenses, including novelty and made-to-order lenses, can not be canceled, returned, or exchanged.
  • * A $2.50 fee will apply to each return processed.
  • * Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable.
